BEFORE RUNNING AT ALL!
move the skype app from the protected system wide applications folder [mv /Applications/Skype.app ~/Applications/] and then lock it. [sudo chflags uchg ~/Applications/Skype.app] aslong as u dont mind a popup asking for permission to change files, which u can easily deny every time it starts up, this will work.
and as of now, you need to block domains in the host file aswell. to do this, edit the hosts file [sudo nano /etc/hosts]
127.0.0.1 config.edge.skype.com
127.0.0.1 get.skype.com
20.190.177.83 login.live.com
and then flush ur hosts [sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder]

edit the hosts file at "c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts" and add this:
127.0.0.1 config.edge.skype.com
127.0.0.1 get.skype.com
20.190.177.83 login.live.com
and for extra security, you can make the skype executible file read only.
